Catching up...

Its been a few months since our last post. In case you didn't notice, Thanksgiving/Christmas/and Birthdays have come and gone. Instead of a long detailed blog, here's a few photos of the last few months.

A quick stop in Leavenworth, WA, on our way to Montana. Leavenworth is in the heart of the state, and is a prime replica of a typical bavarian village. It was a beautiful scene which reminded me much of my visit to Germany in December a few years back. Little snow, lots of people, shopping, and carrolers. One of the only family pictures we took over Christmas, as you can see Jake was too busy for the camera. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas this year in Dillon, little could you tell Jake and I were both fairly sick, but had excellent care. All the Petersens were together, including the newest addition, Baby Ashley (Tod & Amber).

My 30th Birthday! Troy and Jake had a day full of surprises for me. Lunch, shopping, massage, and a birthday party.

Jake, Troy and I made a trip to Blythe the first part of February. As typical for February, the weather was beautiful, and everything was so green! Playing outside everyday, a treat for us folks in cold/wet country this time of year. We wanted to capture a few great pictures of Jake since he turned 2 a week later!

 

Jakes actual birthday was on a tuesday.  We celebrated with pancakes, his favorite breakfast.  It took me 3 tries to get a picture, because he kept blowing his candle out.  His friend Taylor came over for a playdate, then Troy and I took him to a fancy lunch at McDonalds (new playhouse).  Swimming falls on tuesday night, then we followed up with cake and presents!  Jake likes to tell us he's 2....no kidding!

Of course we couldn't end this update without an update about our newest little one.  My last ultrasound was great, baby is growing and healthy as can be.  This is an active little one, Jake and Troy are now feeling him/her kick.  My due date is around the 25th of June! 

Since this update took me 2 days and a call to my dear friend for assistance, I am signing off...I'll post an update soon of Jake's new bedroom, this weekend's project!
